Day 3 HK trip

We woke up a little earlier today for some famous dianxin at Tien Hao Yun.

Googled around about this dim sum which is pretty famous and Took the MTR and walk quite a distance before reaching.

Reached finally and this is how i visualise Hong Kong..

The junction streets..

This is how they pay their parking fee.

Waited for 45minutes and finally our turn.

Ordered a few dim sum. Too many pics so forget about it to post in this post.

Qiqi playing with her spoon as she doesnt really fancy dim sum. Overall it was yummy but I was hoping to be more traditional something like the Red Star restaurant where they push the trolley around.

Anyways we went to Wong Ta sin after that and pray.

Qiqi also wana pray to the Gods!

The temple..

After that we had to the famous MongKok for some shopping.

It is so crowded! And Fun!

Walk until our legs breaking..and decided to rest in macdonalds.

After all the shopping we decided to go back hotel. But we didnt forget something we wanted to try and head around to find.

Roast Goose!!!!! It was yummy!
And finally pack off for the next day. Disneyland!!!! Dead tired..

Day 2 Xmas Day

Recently my iphone blog app has some crashing issues thus no matter how I update, halfway thru it will crash and I gave up. Continuing from where I stopped. We lived in L Nina Hotel which right below is a very typical hongkong market which very much look like the olden days of Singapore. Over there we also get to see a lot of elderly which let me recall back my very young days where my grandmother was still around. She dressed very much like them back then and now you can hardly see those clothings in Singapore.

Ok talking back to the trip, the second day of our Hongkong trip we had a hearty hong kong authentic breakfast and the porridge was and honey lemon was really nice.

We took MTR and went to catch the cable car to proceed to Ngong Ping. As usual it was a qing experience again and this round we queued for almost 2 hours.

Luckily the effort was worthwhile as when we took the cable car, everything was much better. Alicia had fun looking at the cable car, she was so excited that she was so high up above the mountains and at times can see people walking below us. It was cold and breezy, upon reaching we had to walk through a village of shops. We took quite a lot of memorable tourist photos and had some authentic curry fish balls on the way.

Finally we walked to the Giant Buddha and before we reach to the top, we have to climb 268 steps. It was so high up but I am so proud my Alicia did it all by herself and climb all the way. Here are some pics.

Finally dark was coming and the Island is about to close. Unfortunately we were unable to visit the temple but it was a fulfilling trip. As usual we have to queue for around 2 hours before reaching the cable car point and regretted not trying the crystal cabin as it wasn't that scary after all. Upon reaching we went to Citygate outlets for dinner but the Food Republic food court was really terrible and Qiqi was too tired to shop around so we took a cab and hurried back to hotel.
